15 tries never getting past 400m, then a perfect set of moles for 915.

Thought of you this week while in Denver (where there are also prairie dog hills): some folks have set up 1000 free commuter bikes at major public transit stops, all on the occasion of the Democratic National Convention.

Also thought of you last week when I read about some Toronto bike shop owner / thief who was busted for stealing more than 2,000 two-wheelers.

damn, y’all are good. first try today, 1237.0m.

Hey Phil, I heard that the DNC was bringing in some communal bikes for the week; in fact there was a bit of controversy around how they are not allowing bikes at the Stadium where Obama will be speaking. And just how will the DNC make this a green convention without allowing bikes at the centerpiece event?

I don’t know… I don’t have an answer, but I think a worthy pursuit in life is to ask questions the answers to which cannot be Googled. It’s often useful just to articulate the problem, and that may be all we can do. — Phillip Barron "Doping scandals spoiling the spirit of sports"
