    Hi,

We just moved to Durham from Berkeley and, before moving, I used your site to figure out my route to work, so thanks a lot.
We are renting an apartment in West Village and I couldn’t help but notice that there are unused train tracks going from downtown north towards Club Avenue, roughly between Washington and Duke St. The tracks dissapear into the overgrown vegetation just past Fernway St, but I confirmed they are there! Does anybody know why these tracks haven’t been turned into multiuse trails to connect to the greenway that starts at Trinity Ave?
Looking forward to my first BPAC meeting on Nov. 18h!
    Thanks for the site.

I don’t know… I don’t have an answer, but I think a worthy pursuit in life is to ask questions the answers to which cannot be Googled. It’s often useful just to articulate the problem, and that may be all we can do. — Phillip Barron "Doping scandals spoiling the spirit of sports"
