Recently, I’ve published two prose poems in a pair of online outlets.
You can find Hanging Rock at the deep ecology themed Bijou Poetry Review and Compass Points at the high-minded Airplane Reading. I’m honored to have them included in both projects, and coincidentally I received the acceptance email from Christopher Schaberg while I was standing in line to board an east-bound flight from Sacramento.
Spend some time on either site and enjoy the stories and poems waiting for you there.
And as if just in time, over the weekend I started reading Paul Harding’s arresting, short novel Tinkers. Given the care with which he (my fellow UMass alum) chooses words for his story, it really ought to be classified as prose poetry.
